Perch Community

Our society is slowly starting to re-emerge from pandemic hibernation, and so is Perch. We have started going to happy hour and have been rotating between Fair Game Beverage, City Tap, and The Mod in Pittsboro. And, we have added one of our favorite events-community lunches a few times a month. When the weather is nice we like to take advantage of the lovely Page Vernon park in downtown Pittsboro (just a couple of feet from PBO Perch).

And, recently, we had our first in-person Mindfulness class with Liz Harden. For a full year, she had been teaching weekly virtual Mindfulness and Yoga classes (that got many of our coworking members through the day or week). Welcome back Liz! Perch is so excited to offer Yoga and Mindfulness twice a month.

And, of course, we still stay connected to our CBO members. We continue to have weekly virtual lunches and hosted our first in-person happy hour in May at Steel String, which was bittersweet, since that used to be our standing Friday afternoon spot.

Perch has always been more than just a space that has WiFi and a place to work. It has and will always be about our members, the community and the connection that are formed. As we begin to figure out ways to create a healthy balance between work and home, so that our home remains our home. A coworking space can be the perfect solution. Most coworking/flex spaces offer a free half day including Perch...so come try us out!
